About Kerry

Kerry grew up in the semi-rural foothills of San Jose and chose to put down roots in Moraga with his wife in 2017. Today, they are raising three young children here, along with a small menagerie of animals.

Kerry was elected to the Moraga Town Council in 2022 and currently serves as Mayor of Moraga. His commitment to public service is grounded in both his professional experience and his belief that local government works best when it is responsive, transparent, and focused on the needs of the community.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE & LEADERSHIP

Kerry brings more than 25 years of experience in public service, public affairs, policy development, and government relations at the federal, state, and local levels. His work has focused particularly on transportation, infrastructure, and sustainability, giving him extensive experience navigating complex policy challenges and bringing people together to get things done.

Professionally, Kerry serves as Public Affairs Manager for the Western and Central United States at Alstom, a global leader in sustainable mobility. He also serves on the Board of the Bay Area Council and participates in its Transportation Policy Committee, helping shape conversations around transportation and infrastructure across the region.

Kerry is also Chief Strategy Officer of his family business, Stella Pearl Consulting.
